It seeks to convert profit from travel itineraries into positive conservation impact in the places we venture. Guests can book a spot on the expedition, and profit is invested in environmental projects.
These are not cookie-cutter itineraries. They are deep expeditions to remote reaches of Earth where few people explore.
This concept is taking form as a trial itinerary - to Bioko Island's jungle, in Equatorial Guinea, Central Africa. From November 22 - December 5, 2026 a team will backpack the southern coast of Bioko Island to the Gran Caldera, and then back to civilization. This unique itinerary is co-facilitated with The Drill Project and Drill Films.
The 14-day trip includes trekking, camping, and wildlife tracking through Bioko Island's reserve. The expedition group size is limited and costs $3,995 per person. This price includes ground transportation, hotels, gear, permits, guides, and expedition leaders. It does not include air travel, visa application fees, personal insurance, or mandatory vaccinations and medications. However, we will guide you through all travel processes, and are offering a virtual team briefing session before departure.
This is a unique and adventurous expedition designed at an affordable price point. The itinerary emphasizes trekking and camping in the jungle, which differs from traditional safaris in open savannah while driving overland in vehicles. Due to this approach to active exploration, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. We do not recommend venturing into these areas without us, or other local guides.

The expedition itinerary:
November 22nd: Arrive in Malabo and meet the team (group transportation and two nights of hotel reservations included).
November 23rd: Team day hike around a caldera.
November 24th: Backpack to the southern coast of Bioko Island.
November 24th - December 4th: Camp on Bioko's southern beaches where research camps are established. We will trek by day to hides to observe wildlife and take night walks after the sun sets. The team will go on a multi-day trek to the Gran Caldera for several nights, before hiking back to the road in Ureka on December 4th.
December 4th: Spend our last night together at a hotel in Malabo, with a farewell dinner (included).
December 5th: City exploration, group transfers to the airport for departure, according to flight reservations.
